Training and Further Education in Care and Social Services (TECS) is an Erasmus+ Key Action 2 “Strategic Partnership” project in vocational education.

From October 2019 to August 2022, TECS conducted a best practice exchange among the partner organisations. The main focus is on training and further education, so thus not primary degrees or diplomas, of professionals in social services such as care and associated auxilliary services, e.g. home emergency call dispatch. By having partner organisations from Western and Eastern Europe, TECS unites a wide set of views on the issue of care and social services. To make use of this unique opportunity of diverse perspectives around the table, TECS combined the best practice exchange meetings with brief sessions to debate European social policy.

The project has been concluded.

The project brochure on the exchanged practices, visited social services and project take-aways is available for download here.

The project’s discussion of the European social policy context majorly contributed to an event organized largely the same group of organisations in the context of the Conference on the Future of Europe.
